6 Undervalued Fantasy Football Assets Based on Vegas Win Totals

Once you get past Romo and Dalton in the quarterbacking ADP, the win totals are largely vomit-worthy. That is, until you bop all the way down to Brock Osweiler and Joe Flacco. Osweiler has yet to put together a full season as a starting quarterback, but Flacco is a bit of a different case, and he could be an interesting guy to monitor heading into 2016.

When Flacco first got rolling with the Baltimore Ravens, the team essentially kept him caged. They were 19th or lower in pass-to-run ratio for six of his first seven seasons, logging a 10th-place finish in 2013. Last year -- due to injuries galore and an ineffective ground game -- they jumped all the way up to fourth in the stat. Partially as a result, Flacco ranked 14th in points scored among quarterbacks through the first 11 weeks before an injury cut his season short. He was a streamable asset in the right conditions.

You would assume that with a projected win total of 8.5 that the Ravens' pass-to-run ratio would decline, but the team has also been investing heavily in the passing game of late. Not only did they use a first-round pick on wide receiver Breshad Perriman last year, but they also spent a decent amount of dough to sign wideout Mike Wallace and tight end Benjamin Watson in free agency. Considering the continued questions around their rushing effectiveness, it seems unlikely that they'd push the passing game completely out into the abyss.

If you're in a 12-team league, Flacco's likely going to be chilling on the waiver wire when the season begins, and you'll have better options for your starter. But with the Ravens facing the defensively-challenged Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars within the first three weeks of 2016, he should be on your streaming radar early if you're in need of a fill-in.
